Live virtual ceremony • April 7, 2021 • 6–7 pm

This year, HCAN’s awards will honor community members who went above and beyond to support kids during COVID-19. A panel of judges is evaluating nearly 90 public nominations.

Tune in to this live, virtual ceremony as we announce the award winners and hear their amazing stories.

Funds raised during the event will go directly toward HCAN’s work to ensure that all keiki are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

Have kids? We have a fun night for them too!

Kids’ meals are available, along with a simultaneous live, interactive program by the Honolulu Zoo. The virtual ZOOmfari Guided Tour is a fun, engaging zoo tour led by a passionate Zoo Educators though a variety of popular areas in the Zoo. Your kids will learn about wildlife ecology, animals at the Zoo, and ways to take action to protect them.

HCAN announced three finalists each for the Innovator, Family-Friendly Employer, and Unsung Hero categories ahead of the event. The winners will be revealed live during the event! Winners of the other eight categories were announced ahead of the event and will be recognized during the live program:

• Health: Healthcare Worker, Public Health Worker
• Safety and Security: Family Strengthening
• Early Education: Child Care Provider, Child Care Program
• K-12 Education: Teacher, Administrator

The program itself is free to stream, with a suggested donation of $25. Everyone who registers will get a link to view the live program, which will be posted for the public on April 8.

Add admission to the kids’ program by the Honolulu Zoo for $10.

By registering online to attend this event, you will be automatically entered to win the raffle prizes. There is no cost to register online. Donations also may be made for additional raffle tickets. There will be one winner of each raffle prize. Winners will be picked randomly from all of the virtual entries received. Your donations go directly to support Hawaiʻi Children’s Action Network’s programs. Mahalo for your support!
