Champions for Children 2026: Looking Back to Shape the Future

Champions for Children 2026: Looking Back to Shape the Future celebrated 30 years of advocacy, partnership, and impact for Hawaiʻi's children and families. Community leaders, supporters, and champions came together for an evening of reflection, inspiration, and generosity in support of a brighter future for Hawaiʻi's keiki.
Guests enjoyed HCAN's Looking Back to Shape the Future Timeline Wall, cultural workshops with Pālai Hi Lei Kūpeʻe Workshop and Kaede School of Calligraphy Hawaiʻi, and a community Makeke featuring Kolea's Creations. The evening also highlighted Hawaiʻi's next generation through performances by Breaks R4 Kidz, Vibe Dance Academy, and Hawaiʻi Dance Bomb, young entrepreneurs Kahele Kine Tings and Crochet Creations, and concluded with a silent auction, live fundraising, Sip & Shine Contest, 360 Video Booth, live music by Palaka ʻOhana Band, and dancing.
Hawaiʻi Children’s Action Network (HCAN) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to ensure all keiki are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

Thanks to the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners, Champions for Children 2026 welcomed more than 220 guests, raised more than $85,000, and received over $20,000 in in-kind contributions. Together, we honored our past, celebrated our impact, and invested in a stronger future for Hawaiʻi's children and families.
